Sherman Radio app and website · Effective October 18, 2026

Privacy Policy

Sherman Radio is an internet radio station broadcasting from Sherman, Connecticut. The Sherman Radio app for Android and iPhone, and this website, are published by Whole Human Productions LLC. This page explains what information is involved when you listen and who handles it.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and it never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. It contains no advertising trackers and no analytics tools, so we do not build a profile of you or follow what you do in other apps.

The few settings the app keeps, such as a running sleep timer, stay on your phone and are never sent to us.

Who handles the stream

Sherman Radio is hosted by Live365, which also holds the music licenses that pay songwriters and performers for the songs we play. When you press play, your phone or browser connects directly to Live365's servers to receive the audio, the name of the song on air, and its album art. Like any website you visit, those servers receive your device's internet address and basic technical details, and Live365 uses them to deliver the stream and to count listeners for royalty reporting. Live365 handles that information under its own privacy policy.

This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and the community calendar from Google Calendar, so Google receives your browser's internet address when those pages open. Artist photos are served from Squarespace.

Notifications

On Android, the app asks permission to show notifications. It uses that permission for one thing: the play and stop controls in your notification shade and on your lock screen. We do not send marketing or promotional notifications.

Children

Sherman Radio is a general-audience music station. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever begins collecting information, for example to run a listener contest or a song request form, we will update this page before that feature goes live and change the effective date above.
